While completing his Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Operations Management at The University of Auckland Travers worked in various roles at Bonneys, including as storeman, washbay attendant and truck driver, before implementing a workplace safety management programme.
Travers has worked at Bonneys in operations full time since 2006. During this time he completed a a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, graduating in 2009.
